ski season - it's a wrap
It's hard to believe ski season is over. Feels like we were just getting things started yesterday.
The season was busy for Foresight. We hosted six school groups from eight school districts around Colorado plus welcomed two blind teens from Nashville, Tennessee for their first-ever skiing experience. Ability levels of all the kids ranged from never having skied before to accomplished rippers. Everyone keeps up their energy thanks to lunch provided by Qdoba in Vail and hydration by Gatorade.
There were also dozens of blind and low vision adults that took to the slopes with Foresight throughout the season. We guided 20-somethings all the way up to a 93-year-old man! Just goes to show that you're never too old to participate in the sports and activities you love as long as you have the support to keep you safe. We hope he's back next year!
Thank you to all our volunteer guides. We wouldn't be able to do what we do without their dedication to Foresight.
Thank you to the parents, teachers, and program participants for trusting us.
And thanks to Gatorade, Qdoba Vail, The Hythe Vail, Comfort Inn, Vail and Edwards Rotaries, Hitchcock Health Institute, Elevation Labs, Albertsons/Safeway Foundation, Epic Mountain Express, Vail Sports, Vail Resorts, and EpicPromise for believing in what we do and supporting us both financially and with in-kind donations. We are so grateful!
Let's take a look back at 2024. Have a great summer and see you on the slopes in 2025.

first tracks with foresight Fundraiser wrap up
Featuring ambassador Erik Weihenmayer
Our inaugural First Tracks fundraiser at Beaver Creek Resort was great fun! About 40 people participated and experienced some amazing skiing conditions. Breakfast was delicious, conversation was robust and Erik Weihenmayer's presentation to the group was a tear-jerker.
Thank you to Erik for his support and participation at Foresight's First Tracks event. And thank you to Vail Resorts and Epic Promise for making the event possible.
Foresight's inaugural First Tracks fundraiser raised $25,000! Thank you to all who participated and to those who donated. We couldn't have reached such success without your support.
We look forward to having you join us in 2025!
